Based in Tenterden, Kent, I am a fully-qualified teacher with over 10 ten years' experience of teaching Science, English and Maths (with particular emphasis on 11+, SATs, 13+ and GCSE preparation), and hold an enhanced DSB certificate.
I am also a mum of four energetic children (aged 17, 9, 7 and 5 at the time of writing), one of whom I coached to success in both the Medway and the Kent 11+ exams. I am now also tutoring my eldest son in preparation for his own 11+ test next year.
If your child needs help passing exams, additional coaching for re-sits or simply a better understanding of the subject-matter, I can provide a relaxed, stimulating learning environment.
I offer individual classes and small group sessions and will cater for your child's individual needs, while ensuring that any requirements which are necessitated by the relevant curriculum are satisfied. My own experiences as a Mum mean that I understand exactly how it feels to want your children to have the best possible start in life.
I have coached many children to success in their exams, and taught children across all abilities in a number of secondary schools throughout Kent. Prior to qualifying as a teacher, I read Biomedical Sciences at King's College, London and graduated with a 2:1 in 2002.
